Marcia Vlachou

Graphic Designer and Creative

Hello and Welcome to my Page. Here’s a quick summary about me.

I have a bachelor in communication arts From Campus Arts n Sciences in Greece. I have worked in known magazines as Editor and Chief Editor. I left that career to grow up my daughter, preferring to work as a freelancer from home. Meanwhile, I studied Graphic Design and Web Development through courses from Kapodistriako University and started working as a professional graphic designer in 2010, taking freelance works for multiple clients and companies.

I opened my own office and established my own company in 2016 when I decided to stop working for others and started working for myself. Graphichousedesign on Etsy was my first shop and from there, I was approached by Silhouette Design Store and Adobe to become a contributor. It was and still is a very beautiful journey. On the way I discovered my love for illustration. I opened WhimsicalFairyArt to cover my own need for illustrations, layouts, design in general.

I know how difficult and how challenging it is to stand out. I hope that through this blog I can share with you some of my knowledge, my passion and my skills. It is my effort to communicate with you the best or even and the worst, the reality of this job.
